Didier Lavallée

Chief Executive Officer

Didier brings over 16 years of capital markets and asset servicing experience, which makes him well positioned to grow Tetra’s digital asset custody. Prior to becoming CEO of Tetra, Didier held various leadership positions at the Royal Bank of Canada including Head of Canadian Custody Product for RBC Investor and Treasury Services. Before that, Didier also ran RBC I&TS North American FX Sales Trading team, FX Product and held various roles in capital markets with RBC, UBS and Genuity. Didier holds a B.A. in Finance and Administrative Studies from Western University.

Steve Oliver

Chief Compliance Officer

Steve has 20+ years experience in financial markets. He is an expert at managing regulatory relationships and implementing policies & procedures and has held previous senior compliance roles at BP as Compliance Director & Manager overseeing Eastern Hemisphere operations. He holds a CFA designation and is a sessional instructor at the University of Calgary.

Marie-Chantal Leduc

Chief of Staff

Marie-Chantal brings over a decade of experience in consulting and investment. Prior to joining Tetra, Marie-Chantal was the executive director of BlockZero Advisors, a boutique management consulting firm specializing in the transformation of the financial infrastructure through emerging technologies like blockchain and digital assets. She also spent over 7 years at KPMG Canada, where she led several large strategic mandates for both the public and the private sector, notably in areas as diverse as AI in financial services, blockchain, and advanced manufacturing. She is currently part of the advisory committee on technological innovation (or Comité consultatif sur l’innovation technologique, CCIT) for the Autorité des marchés financiers of Québec. Marie-Chantal holds a master’s degree in finance from HEC Montréal.

Phil Buchanan

Director of Product

Phil is a product leader with over 15 years of experience applying design thinking to products that embrace the advances and complexities of technologies. Prior to joining Tetra, Phil ran product and design teams at several startups, and developed and delivered interaction design curriculum to hundreds of students in the Department of Design at York University.

Dave Van Noten

Director of Engineering

Dave Van Noten is a business-focused engineering leader with over 20 years of experience in the tech sector, including the last decade in leadership roles. He excels at uniting teams around common goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Dave has worked in various industries, including manufacturing, fintech, transportation, and energy/utilities. He has guided organizations through digital transformations and scaling efforts, ensuring he remains actively engaged in both technical and strategic aspects.

Glenn Pangilinan

Director of Operations

Glenn has over a decade of experience in trading and exchange operations with fintech startups and large institutional banks. He has led the operational overhaul for major banking institutions and has started the operations of various FX brokerages and exchanges globally. He has held previous roles in FX operations and product management with the Royal Bank of Canada and market operations for LMAX Exchange. Glenn holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of British Columbia and an MSc in international Political Economy from the London School of Economics.
